Shiro is my desert island restaurant. It’s simple and unfussy, and everything is extremely tasty. They make their own wasabi in-house, and (never having been a particularly wasabi-friendly person) I eat it like candy.

I often get the Beni Don, and the lunch boxes are amazing and inexpensive.

Our Town was my first friend, when I moved into this neighborhood. They have some of the best muffins ever, including a variety of vegan and sugar-free types which I actually find myself consuming with at least equal enthusiasm.
